Brandon's First Day of School!

Las it Tuesday was Brandon's first day of school! Well, sorta! I found an art class that is in his age group and signed us up! He made a foam fishy frame and the old tissue paper tree craft. He also got to play with slime, which was his favorite I am sure. It was great. We are signed up for a bunch of classes through December. It should be fun!

warm and snuggly

Here is Ellie all warm and snuggly in one of her lovely handmade sweaters! This one was a gift from our friend Rodger. He is one of the people we usually hang out with on Saturday mornings while I learn to become a better knitter myself. The sweater is soo soft, how could she help but smile in it!

Brandon's haircut!

hey all -- here is a pic of bubbas getting his haircut at this cool kid's place. He started off in the silver bullet, but after trying to stand up too many times he ended up in the yellow car in the background which actually has a seatbelt. Overall, he did great and didn't cry at all!

Hello again. I had to put SOMETHING on here so here is an old pic of me and the babies on my 30th birthday! We just hung out at home and had a nice, relaxing day. Ellie was so wee then! She is already much much bigger.

IT IS A GOOD DAY :)

Well it is only 1 p.m. and today is shaping up to be a great day. The babies and I met a friend with twins at the zoo this morning and had a pretty good time. There is a new baby elephant, but the line was too long. Hopefully, we will see it next time! The BEST part of the day is Ellie FINALLY took a bottle! She seems to prefer the Dr. Brown's brand! So, you know what that means....another reason to go to Babies-r-us and bottle shop! Woo hoo! She had about 2 ounces smiled, then barfed a ton and now has major hiccups. I am calling that a success! This is great news because it opens up the possibility of maybe a date night or a lunch with Leo that will truly be adults only --not that I mind taking little Elise with me everywhere I go ...she is quite the zen baby mellow and easily contented. But, it will be nice to occassionally go out with daddy without babies once in a while over the next year or so! Another big milestone is starting to occur with Brandon. Yesterday morning he sat at the table in a regular chair and ate breakfast. Proud mama here! He has been hating the high chair so I think it is about that time to move on up. I am probably still going to buy him a booster seat after thinking about it so he is a little safer. Again, another reason to go to Babies-r-us. Good thing I like that store! Alrighty, that is enough for now. I PROMISE PICTURES WILL SOON BE ADDED. I just need to set up my own lil account with Picasa! Have a good day all.
